World No Tobacco Day

CGC Jhanjeri’s Naya Savera Foundation organized a highly impactful No Tobacco Day Awareness Rally, which commenced from the CGC Gate and extended through to Jhanjeri. This significant initiative was spearheaded by the National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers, who worked in close collaboration with the college staff, with the primary objective of raising awareness about the severe health risks associated with tobacco use.

The rally was characterized by a vibrant and energetic procession, with participants carrying eye-catching banners and placards that conveyed strong, informative messages about the dangers of tobacco consumption. These powerful visuals, coupled with resonant slogans, effectively engaged the local community, drawing attention to the importance of a tobacco-free lifestyle.

As the rally progressed towards Jhanjeri, it transitioned into a more interactive phase, featuring a series of activities and discussions designed to educate the public on the benefits of quitting tobacco. Health professionals facilitated these sessions, providing valuable insights and practical advice on how to overcome tobacco addiction.

The success of the No Tobacco Day Awareness Rally can be attributed to the dedicated efforts of the CGC Naya Savera Foundation and NSS volunteers, the unwavering support of the college staff, and the enthusiastic participation of the local community. Together, they made significant strides in the ongoing battle against tobacco use, contributing to the creation of a healthier, tobacco-free society.
